Implantation to Treat Cutaneous Neoplasia
Matrix IIITM CIsplatin Beads are easily implanted by following the simple procedure illustrated below.
For small masses < 1.5 cm in diameter, the Beads should be placed beneath the mass [1.5 cm apart]. When treating larger masses (> 1.5 cm diameter), clinicians and surgeons have found it advantageous to remove/debulk the mass and then place Beads in closure [1.5 cm apart].
